Curriculum
The school follows the Samacheer Kalvi syllabus or Common syllabus introduced by the Government of Tamil Nadu for classes I to X. The Higher Secondary follows the Tamil Nadu State Board Syllabus. English is the medium of instruction. Tamil is offered as First language from Std UKG to VIII. Hindi has been offered as an optional subject from Standard Std I to Std IX.

St. Mary’s Free NEET & JEE Coaching
NEET-UG (National Eligibility Entrance Test) is a National level Medical entrance test conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education. It is held for providing admissions to MBBS/BDS courses offered by all the government and private medical colleges in India. It occurs once in a year in the month of May. From the year 2016 onwards, NEET exam has replaced AIPMT exam. All seats of any medical / dental college will be filled based on the NEET examination score only.
Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) is an Engineering entrance examination conducted for admission to various Engineering Colleges in India. It is constituted of two different examinations – JEE main and the JEE Advanced. The JEE main is for admission to the National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information technology (IIITs), and some other colleges designated as “Centrally Funded Technical Institutes” (CFTIs). The JEE-Advanced is for admission to the Indian Institutes of technology (IITs). Only the students selected in JEE Mains are eligible for appearing in JEE Advanced.

Medical Facility
Keeping in mind, Swami Vivekananda's words,'Health of the youth is the wealth of the Nation',we pay special attention to Health Education and Value Education. First-Aid facilities are made available in the Physical Education department. Minor injuries are attended to by the Physical Education department. Where need be, immediate medical attention is given by taking the child to the nearby medical practitioner and also keeping the parent informed.
CC TVS
As per the Government's direction, the School Management has taken immediate measures and installed 7 closed circuit CC TV cameras in areas that may need monitoring. This is done with complete awareness on the part of students,parents and teachers,CC TV system helps in preventing or identifying intruders who may enter the premises, this promotes school security. It also ensures discipline and punctuality among students and promotes a safe,secure and healthy learning environment for students and keeps parents at ease about the safety of their children.
Smart Class
Smart class by educomp has been introduced in 25 classrooms in 2012. It has a knowledgecentre with 3 systems & Server. Smartclass is powered by a vast repository of digital instruction materials exactly mapped to meet the specific objectives of different classes. Various topics from the student's curriculum are converted into animation,so that students can relate to the visuals, thereby helping them to remember and retain knowledge. Under the CCE system,assesment of listenting,speaking and reading tasks can be conducted in the class room itself. This helps the teacher to both assess the students and provide remedial teaching.
